Lolita... she is the strong girl from without, everybody admires her as she walks through the streets like a diva, but if you are able to have a look behind that colorful veneer, you will see, she's just a fractured timid girl...
Traditional drawing with watercolors and withe ink.. Really hope you like it
The facial expression is the strength of this piece. The ice-cold stare with a hauty heir really gets across the personality of a Diva.
Originality:
Your style is always so eye-catching. It's because you use stark lighting with bright colors.
Technique:
Drip Style: I feel like some parts of the painting would be more clear if there weren't drip lines of color, although the drip style works well at the center of the piece.
Impact:
I can really get this person's personality or character from the piece. At least in terms of the title, Diva. Great job with this!
The moment I stepped upon Deviantart, my eyes beamed at this portrait of "Lolita." Vibrancy, color scheme, the tone of color, and the creativeness gives this piece my dear thanks.
Looking at the magnificently sketched eyes, it gives me the direct decision to approach this piece carefully. I do fear that the "make-up" surrounding her eyes do bother me, but that sums up with the tone of the painting. The Luminescence and color add that very mystical or midnight touch that attracts me very so.
There are several things that bother me about this painting. When I examine the image clearly in tiny bits, the lips structure happen so to disorient me, little fragments of her left side of hair, the strings at the lower left quadrant, and the light blue stream added to the bottom of the image .
It is true, I have seen similar styles in works like this, but it does not mean that I cannot adore such piece. Your technique is very striking and it appeals to any viewer. If I do wish to say, continue on with your work. I do say, please work on the color stretch when including warm colors to the pool of your paintings.
