I could give you a A for this but that's not what a critique is for. I think you did a really great job! the subtle orange and yellow really present the colors of autumn and the glitters give it some sparkles making it more lively. what I think is the best is actually only a small detail. I don't know if you used Photoshop or she really got it on her eye (which would be even more amazing!) is the nerves that you normally see in leaves. With this you show the aspects of the leaves falling which is typical for fall. The berry's also strengthen this. The only thing I don't really like are those golden butterflies. They capture all the attention instead of the eye. The eye is done very well though, the white line on the waterline makes it look like it is bigger and it is more striking. I really like it! Keep it up! and I hope you can use this it is my first critique so hope its good
For me this is beautiful as yellows, reds, and oranges blend together. Those yellow berries and those gold glitter add up the scheme of autumn, along with those gold butterflies. They add up more yellow to the eye-art, along with those red lines that make it look like fire from the eye. The blue color also blends too as for me blue represents winter and red and orange represent autumn. Additional glitters also add up the gold in the eye-art and those berries. They have a little orange that would really make it a blend of those colors. I hope you keep up the good work, and this is my first critique.
This is amazing! I love the colors and how you got part of the design to look similar to leaf veins. You put such careful detail into individual areas yet still managed to make the over all effect perfect. Also the fact that you paired a blue eye with the color and theme makes this all the more bold.
Autumn has always been my favorite time of year, and you've just made it even more memorable. How beautiful all of your works are. Do you work in H'wood? I'd really like to know, if not you should be. I worked out there for about 6 years back in the late 80's and early 90's. I've got a little shop on Etsy.com "SunnyShadeFeathers" check it out. I make compassionate clips for green medicine, and that's MY ART !!
Could I please use this as a reference to try out your paint style (even though I'm pretty sure I'd never get it right since it's been a long time since I used ink)?
Oh my gosh... This has left me speechless and in awe . I have a question, did you make the the berries (like, are they plastic, or real ). I still can't believe what I just saw, I have looked at much of your other artwork too, and I am just as amazed.
